How do I book a portrait/couple/family photography session?
Booking a session is simple! You can either:
Fill out the contact form on my website with your details and session type.
Email me directly at sophienthompson24@gmail.com to discuss your project.
Once we’ve agreed on the details (location, timing, and service type), I’ll send you a contract and an invoice for the deposit.
How long does it take to get my photos after the session?
-For Real Estate: Within 24 hours.
-For Portraits and Senior Photos: 1-3 days.
-For Couples & Engagements: 2-4 Days.
-For Families: 3-5 Days.
This allows time for editing, retouching, and any necessary revisions. Everyone will receive a sneak peak of 3 images within 24 hours. For larger or custom projects, it may take a little longer, but I will always give you an estimated delivery date upfront.
Do you provide the original unedited raw image files?
The images in your gallery will be edited to improve lighting, contrast, sharpness, and color — all of which is a standard process for digital photographers. Therefore, I do not provide the unedited RAW images.
What are your travel fees for Real Estate?
There will be no travel fee for listings at or under 40 miles round trip from my home base. All miles over 40 round trip will be billed .70 per extra mile. I will travel anywhere.
What if it rains?
For Portraits: I schedule most of my sessions at an outdoor location. I love the natural using natural light BUT, I can't control the weather! I will work with my clients to either shoot a little earlier in the day, or figure out a rain date, if it's needed. If it's a super cloudy day, I will still shoot, especially since clouds can look beautiful close to sunset!
For Real Estate: I always plan to shoot exterior photos at the optimal time for lighting and weather. If the forecast predicts bad weather (rain, snow, or extreme winds), I may suggest rescheduling the exterior shots. The interior photos can usually proceed as planned, as the indoor lighting is controllable.
What is an online gallery?
It's your own private link, where you can view and download images to your computer or device. When I'm finished editing your images, I'll send the link to your gallery, via email. It's private/password protected.
